The GT Identification System includes a Parent Dashboard that keeps parents and guardians up-to-date on where their student is in the gifted identification process.

After a student has been referred for gifted testing, parents/guardians will receive an email with login and registration email for the Gifted Identification System that will give them access to the Parent Dashboard. On this dashboard, parents and guardians are able to do the following:

  • Submit parent/guardian permission for their student to participate in gifted testing
  • Submit a parent survey
  • In districts where it is allowed, parents/guardians are able to submit examples of student work or projects
  • Check up on where their student is in the gifted identification process
  • Notifications alerting them to any additional information they may need to provide about their child

Parents cannot see any information submitted by a student's teacher or other system collaborators or testing data.

Can parents/guardians see other students who are being referred?

No! Parents/guardians are only able to see their students, and will never see information or documents for other students.

What if a parent/guardian doesn't have access to the internet or email?

The GT Identification System fully supports manual uploads of any permissions, documentation, or other information that parents/guardians may need to provide during the gifted identification process, making it easy for parents/guardians who do not have access to the internet to provide important information.
